Re-Live The Day

retro video games consoles

“They don’t make ’em like they used to !”

Fancy some old skool fun? Below are some reproduction retro computer consoles to help you enjoy that retro flashback.

Let’s start by mentioning the totally awesome..

Sinclair ZX Spectrum Vega.

Released in 2015, this is the only spectrum box of fun which is endorsed by Sir Clive Sinclair.
Every possible game is built-in and they play better than ever as the console is handheld and features a D-Pad which wasn’t a feature of the original Sinclair Spectrum.

PXP3 16 bit console – 150 retro games

Now these are pretty cool for the price. I’ve bought one so here’s my video review..

For the price, I don’t think you can go wrong here.. It has games built in and usually comes with a cartridge which gives you over 150 games in total. They appear to be mostly Sega Megadrive based. It includes a cable so you can output through your TV. For the price and from what we’ve heard, the battery may not last for ages but you can play it whilst plugged in via the USB charge cable. The console resembles a Sony PSP but certainly doesn’t have the built quality or power of a PSP. It does however, play very well and we highly recommend one for the price. Here are just some of the games which come built in..

Super Mario , Sonic , Gunstar Heroes, Streets of Rage, Pac Mania, Spider Man, Contra, Wrestle War, Batman ,Shadow Dancer, Trouble Shooter,Super Shinobi, Legend of Galahad, Twin Hawk, The Jungle book, Ninja Gaiden , Mickey Mania, King of the Monsters , Power Rangers,Dragon’s eye, Ultimate Mortal Combat 3, Fighting Masters, Little mermaid, Flinstones, Super Battleship, EA Hockey ,X-men 2, Ghostbusters,Turtles, Golden Axe 2,Dynamite Duke, Hellfire, Hokutono Ken, Space Harrier,Jewel Masters, Knock out Boxing, Final Zone,Chess, Alex Kidd, Space Invaders and many more!

Atari Flashback 7

Here’s a little something for you Atari fans! Although smaller, it mimics the look of the Atari 2600.. It even has the woodgrain effect across the front. There’s 101 built in games which you can play through your TV. The controllers look like the original ones but are wireless and have a few buttons on the side to control the console with.

This is a well manufactured and well packaged retro gaming console.
It’s always nice to buy an original console but reproductions as good as this provide benefits which weren’t available back in the day, such as wireless technology and durability.

Finally, we’ll let you do your own research on this one because it’s a little complicated.. But OH WOW!!…..
